What can be done about missing and broken teeth?

Bonding

If you have chipped off a small piece of tooth enamel, cracked your tooth or broken it, bonding is one possible solution.

Next, your dentist will shape the composite to resemble your original tooth. The last step is hardening the composite using UV light. This is called curing. If a large piece of tooth breaks off or your dentist is forced to file the tooth down to rid it of decay, your dentist may recommend a crown.
